3 Life Lessons Learnt as I saw the body of my granddad lay in a coffin “breathless” (photos/video)

What a weekend!, filled with memories and more.

My grandfather (aka Iburibu 1 of Umudei village, Amaokpara) left us at age 87.

He was a RTD. Inspector of Police who is survived by a lovely wife, 10 children, 40 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was laid to rest and the burial was a success. I was one of the grandchildren who saw his “lifeless and breathless” body lay flat in that coffin.

(A supposed video but can’t be shared here)

What a life!

Like scriptures say, today we are and tomorrow we are no more.

Upon my return from the village, I had a time of sober reflection. I scribbled (3) life lessons I’ll love to share with you.

1. Your Life is to be Lived deliberately. It’s your Legacy for your children, grandchildren and generations to come.

2. Everyday you Live are memories you create. Be intentional about life. This can’t be over-emphasized.

3. Live Your Best Life everyday. Tomorrow isn’t promised any man but a man who is BORN AGAIN has a future with God.

(Eternity is Real. Life is beyond this flesh and body we see. This Life is Spiritual.)

Need to get it right with God now you still have his breath in you?
