Media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu turns 37 today, July 14 and here is a background story about him.
Ebuka was born in Benin city, Edo state to Igbo parents. He attended the University of Abuja where he studied Law and proceeded to the Nigerian law school in 2004 and completed his program in 2005.
The TV host proceeded to the Washington College of Law of the American University, Washington DC, where he acquired a Master of Law degree, specializations in Intellectual Property as well as Communications law from the Law and Government program.
Ebuka returned to the country and went in for the maiden edition of the Big Brother Naija in 2006, although he didn’t emerge the winner, Ebuka went on to full time media experience, leaving his law degree behind.
He joined the EbonyLife family and became a co-host to ‘The Spots’ and entertainment and lifestyle show he hosted alongside Zainab Balogun and Lamide.
Ebuka eventually moved on to ‘Rubbin Minds’ on Channels Tv and in 2017, he auditioned and became the host of Big Brother Naija.
He recently started another TV show called ‘Judging Matters’ on African magic.
Ebuka is married to Cynthia and they have two little girls.
